2008-2009 Executive Board. Officers are elected by the membership and serve as volunteers.

President: Ilana Rossel Steele

Ilana Rossel Steele attended Texas A&M University of Commerce. She was initiated in the Delta Beta Chapter of Alpha Phi in 1993. She is currently serving as President of the Far North Dallas Alpha Phi Alumnae Group. Ilana was a Recruitment Advisor for 8 years and is now happy to be helping on the alumnae side of her chapter. Serving her community is very important to her. She is very fortunate to be able to volunteer with Special Olympics, working with the Frisco Fire Department Citizen’s Alumni , Frisco Fire Department Safety Town volunteer, Frisco Public Safety Officer Recovery Fund and she is very honored to teach Sunday school to 4th graders. She cherishes every moment being a triplet with her two brothers. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her three amazing dogs.



Vice President: Amy Martin

Amy is an alumna of Alpha Xi Delta from Southwestern University in Georgetown, where she served as Chapter Life VP, Programs VP, Historian, Secretary and Recruitment Head. She has a BA in Psychology, and is a real estate analyst with Tuesday Morning Inc. in Dallas. Amy has also served FATAAP as Assistant VP Fraternal Education, VP Fraternal Education and Recording Secretary. Amy is a resident of Frisco. She enjoys spending time with her niece, nephew and her wonderful sheltie Blitzen.



VP Fraternal Education: Toni Chandler

Toni is an alumna of Zeta Tau Alpha, Stephen F. Austin State University. She lives in Allen with her husband and two daughters. Toni works for SFA as the DFW Regional Admissions Coordinator. She also serves as the Philanthropy and Co-Membership Advisor for Theta Eta Chapter of ZTA at SFA, is a member of the Evans Elementary PTA board, is a Girl Scout leader, president of the Collin County ZTA alumnae, and active in the SFA Dallas Alumni chapter.




VP Fraternal Education: Allison Miers

Allison Miers is a Phi Mu from Northwestern State University. She was initiated in the Kappa Iota Chapter in 2000. She currently is a Hospice Care Consultant for Samaritan Care Hospice and is blessed to be able to provide help and comfort to families going through tough times. She lives in Frisco with her dog Deuce. She has been a member of FATAAP for 2 years and is currently serving her first term as VP of Fraternal Education.

Recording Secretary: Jennifer Rossel

Jennifer is an alumna of Delta Gamma. She lives in Frisco with her husband and daughter.




Treasurer: Shelley Merner

Shelley Merner is a Kappa Alpha Theta. She was initiated in the Alpha Xi chapter at University of Oregon in 1989. She lives in Frisco with her son and husband. She is the chef/owner of Elegant Eats Personal Chef Service. She is a graduate of Leadership Frisco Class 8 and helped start Frisco Cares Children’s Clinic. Currently she’s serving her second two year term as treasurer for FATAAP and is also on the board of the Frisco Farmers’ Market.




Parliamentarian: Kimberly Hill Bailey

Kimberly is an alumna of Sigma Kappa from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls. She served as Chapter Social Chair and President. She has a BS in Finance and currently is a Project Manager for Perot Systems. She lives in Frisco with her son. She has been a member of FATAAP for 4 years. Kimberly has also served FATAAP as Assistant VP Fraternal Education, VP Fraternal Education and President. She also is an active member of the Dallas Sigma Kappa Alumnae group.



Website Coordinator: Karla Hardy Allford

Karla Hardy Allford attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. In the fall of 1989 she was a part of the re-charter of the Gamma Omega chapter of Alpha Phi. She and her mother have been members of the Southwest Dallas Area AF Alumnae since 1993 and Karla was the founding President of the Far North Dallas Alpha Phi Alumnae Group in 2000. She has held practically every office available between the two groups. Karla volunteers as a Regional Recruitment Specialist for AF at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls as well as Cameron University in Lawton, OK. Karla is continually looking for ways to raise money for different causes or to volunteer to help for a community service event. She and her 12 year old daughter, Jordan, enjoy playing tennis together and walking (or being walked) by their two large “puppies” (65 lbs and 95 lbs!). Jordan looks forward to the day when she can go Greek and “play sorority” with dear old mom.
